Terms of sale

Purpose

These terms govern access to the invitation editing and hosting service provided by Cécile Missol EI, following the purchase, on the Cécile Missol EI Etsy shop, of a digital download granting activation of this service. They apply to every activation carried out on this site.

Price and payment

The price of the base product is paid in full on Etsy at the time of purchase, under Etsy's own terms and payment methods. No additional payment is required on this site to receive the service that purchase entitles you to.

Any later options or renewals (for example a hosting extension) are separate, optional purchases, offered independently and after the initial purchase; they never gate access to the base product already paid for.

Activation

Activation is done by entering, on the "Activate your purchase" page, the Etsy order number and the email address used for the purchase. The request is reviewed manually; a response (approval or a reasoned refusal) is sent within 24 business hours. Once approved, a sign-in link is emailed to the address provided.

One Etsy order entitles the buyer to activate one invitation per purchased theme. Any attempt to activate the same order for the same theme more than once will be refused.

Hosting period

Hosting of the published invitation is included for 18 months from its publication date. After that period, the invitation becomes inaccessible to the public unless an extension has been purchased beforehand, sold separately.

Cécile Missol EI will, where possible, notify the couple by email before their invitation expires.

Right of withdrawal

As the service consists of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, and of a service fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period, at the consumer's express request (the editor is activated immediately once the order is approved), the customer acknowledges, by ticking the consent checkbox during activation, that they waive their right of withdrawal once performance of the service begins, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.

Customer obligations

The customer agrees to provide accurate information when activating, to publish only content (text, photographs) they hold the necessary rights to, and to upload no unlawful, abusive content or content infringing third-party rights.

The customer remains solely responsible for their guests' personal data collected through the RSVP form and for the information they owe their guests in that respect.

Availability and liability

Cécile Missol EI uses reasonable means to keep the service available and secure, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. Cécile Missol EI cannot be held liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service, nor for an interruption attributable to a third-party provider (hosting, email delivery) or to a case of force majeure.

Suspension and termination

In the event of a serious breach of these terms (unlawful content, fraudulent use, infringement of third-party rights), Cécile Missol EI may suspend or disable the invitation concerned, after email notice where circumstances allow.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the customer may use a consumer mediation service before any legal action. Failing an amicable resolution, the competent French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
